Websites for cafés and coffee shops

Breakfast, lunch, coffee: people see whether you are open and what is on the menu before they walk over.

What your website does for you

Built around how your customers find you: on a phone, often in a hurry.

  • Open or closed, right now

Your opening hours on every page, and the home page says whether you are open right now. Holiday closures shown in good time.

  • The menu as real text

No PDF to pinch and zoom. Dishes and prices as text that reads well on a phone and that Google can read too.

  • Allergens marked clearly

The 14 allergens marked on each dish, taken from your own allergen records, with a line asking people with allergies to speak to your staff.

  • Your food hygiene rating

If you want it shown, your rating with a link to its official page on the Food Standards Agency site, so people can check it themselves.

  • Easy to find

Address, map, parking, step-free access and the nearest bus stop: the things people check before they come.

The pages your site gets

People search for the moment, not the café: "breakfast near me", "gluten free café", "coffee shop open now". So your site gets pages for what you want to be found for, written in those words.

  • Menu

Breakfast, lunch, cakes and drinks as text, with prices, allergens marked and options such as vegan or gluten free where you offer them.

  • Opening hours and finding you

Your hours, holiday closures, address, map, parking and step-free access.

  • Bookings and groups

Table requests, larger groups and private hire if you take them, with what people should tell you in advance.

  • Catering and cakes

Office lunches, platters or celebration cakes if you make them, with how much notice you need.

We ask you for your menu and allergen records, your opening hours and a few photos of your food and the café. We write the rest.

Questions from cafés

Do I have to put allergens on my website?

If people order and pay through a website, allergen information has to be available before they buy. A menu that is only there to read does not have to list them, but people with allergies look for it. We mark only what your own allergen records say.

Can people book a table?

Yes: a booking request with the date, time and number of people, sent to you, and you confirm it. If you already use a booking system, the button opens that instead.

Can I change the menu or the specials?

Send us the change and we make it. Up to 2 small changes a month are part of the care. If your specials change every day, tell us and we will suggest the simplest way to show them.

Should I show my food hygiene rating?

Many cafés with a good rating like to. We only show it if you ask, and link it to the official Food Standards Agency page, so it always matches your current rating.

Who owns the website?

You do, once the 6 months are paid. If you leave earlier, you pay the months that are left of the 6 and the site is yours.
